Dr. Lisa Esler-Brauer is a board-certified dermatologist and phlebologist (vein care specialist) with a with a finely tuned ability to listen to patients’ needs and translate them into artistic and natural aesthetic results. She is greatly fulfilled by the journey of making patients feel good about themselves and the long-term relationships she is able to establish while doing so. For Dr. Brauer, becoming a doctor was always a clear and consistent goal. However, what type of doctor to become didn’t crystalize for her until she completed a dermatology rotation during medical school. She loved how visually impactful and dynamically paced the field was. Dr. Brauer received her Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University and graduated cum laude with her Doctorate of Medicine from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, where she also completed her residency in dermatology.
Dr. Brauer then went on to advance her skills by completing a clinical cosmetic dermatology, phlebology, and laser preceptorship with Dr. Buscaglia at The Cosmetic Vein and Laser Center. Dr. Brauer takes pride in delivering unmatched, state-of-the-art care to all of her patients by staying up to date with the latest cutting-edge medical approaches. She shares her knowledge and advanced training with other physicians as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology, Lasers, and Phlebology at SUNY Buffalo.
Beyond her work, Dr. Brauer is the proud mother of a son, Jackson, and a daughter Alexandra. She spends a lot of weekends at area zoos, museums, and festivals with her family.
