A Comprehensive Approach to Vein Care

We sometimes wish we were named the “Comprehensive Vein & Laser Center” because that is one of our greatest strengths.

• We first treat venous insufficiency from a medical perspective, using EndoVenous Laser Therapy (EVLT), VenaSeal, vein removal, or a combination of the above to address leg swelling and pain. These are performed outpatient here at our office and are usually deemed medically necessary by insurance. However, “comprehensive vein care” does not start and end here.
• We then offer ultrasound-guided injection sclerotherapy for the smaller branches of the veins and “feeder” veins just under the skin’s surface. This works to seal abnormal veins and again provides symptom relief.
• Lastly, we treat those red, blue, and purple cosmetic spider veins at the skin’s surface. Sclerotherapy is a treatment in which a concentrated solution is injected into the unwanted spider veins. The solution works by irritating the vein's lining so that the vein seals shut. Following this progression of treating veins - starting with the deepest, largest veins and working our way up to the cosmetic surface - gives patients both long-term symptom and cosmetic improvement. Remember, this is a journey to better leg health with slow and steady improvements with lasting results.
