Decorative tattoos have a history dating back at least 5000 years.  The desire to remove them has probably existed for just as long.  Early attempts to remove tattoos have had less than desirable results.  The use of dermabrasion, salabrasion, surgery and older Argon or CO2 lasers have left behind scars in place of the tattoo.  Our office utilizes 5 different nanosecond wavelengths of laser to address pigment removal in unwanted tattoos.  Additionally, CVLC now has the most cutting edge technology in our newest laser  – the PiQo4™.   This is the first picosecond laser with FOUR wavelengths (specifically, the 1064nm, 532nm, 650nm, and 585nm) to receive FDA clearance.
