Peter D’Auria, MA, RPA-C
Peter is a Registered and Certified Physician Assistant who joined the Cosmetic Vein & Laser Center in August of 2003. Peter currently performs cosmetic and medical procedures with Laser, Intense Pulsed Light, Radiofrequency Devices, and Duplex Ultrasound for endovenous procedures. Peter has extensive knowledge regarding these rejuvenating and interventional modalities and has attended multiple international laser and phlebology conferences and certifying courses. He received a Masters degree in Pathology from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Science (SUNY) where he conducted research on the human immune system. In addition to his Physician Assistant degree that he received from Daemen College, he also has a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY). Peter is a fellow of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, American College of Phlebology, Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New York State Society of Physician Assistants and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. When not in the office, Peter is likely to be found trying to keep up with his daughters, preferably on a mountain or a river.
Bridget Burruano, RPA-C
Bridget is a Registered and Certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years experience, who joined the Cosmetic Vein and Laser Center in 2010. Under intensive hands on training by Dr. Buscaglia and Dr. Brauer, Bridget has quickly become a very confident and adept practitioner in cosmetic dermatology, laser therapy and cosmetic skin care. Additional training included laser and cosmetic education at the international annual laser conference. Bridget currently performs cosmetic laser treatments including Fraxel laser, pigmented lesion and vascular lesion treatment, Zeltiq Coolsculpting, Microdermabrasion and Glycolic peels. In addition to performing these cosmetic procedures, she has extensive knowledge with facial rejuvenation and skincare. Bridget received her Bachelor of Science Degree from D’Youville College as part of the second graduating class. As Adjunct Faculty for the Physician Assistant Program at Damaen College, she enjoys helping to educate the future of the PA profession. She is a member of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Robin Locurcio, BS, RT, (R), RDMS (AB,OB/GYN,BR) RVT(VT)
Robin is a Registered Medical Sonographer who joined The Cosmetic Vein & Laser Center in April 2008. Robin currently performs diagnostic duplex ultrasound and ultrasound guided endovenous procedures. Robin has a vast knowledge of vascular ultrasound in addition to being a registered abdominal, obstetrics and gynecology and breast sonographer with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Robin is also a Registered Radiologic Technologist who received her Bachelor of Science and Radiology Studies from Empire State College. She also has a prior associates degree in Math, Science and Technology from CVPH Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology. Robin is a member of the American College of Phlebology, The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Robin is also a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS). Above all, Robin enjoys spending time with her husband Joe and her three children.
Caroline Marsillo, Aesthetician, Dual Licensed
Caroline has over 25 years’ experience and was one of the first licensed aestheticians to practice in Western New York. Caroline received her education and training at Christine Valmy International School of Aesthetics in New York City. At CVLC, she performs Hydrafacials, Superficial peels, Microdermabrasions and Coolsculpting. Caroline has an extensive knowledge in educating our patients on the importance of quality skin care products and regimen for home skin care. She prides herself on restoring her patients’ skin with treatments and home skin care and demonstrates confidence with the treatments she performs. On a personal note, Caroline enjoys spending time with her daughter and their Maltese dog, Maddie Girl.
Kathleen
Kathy is a Licensed Practical Nurse who joined The Cosmetic Vein & Laser Center in April of 2007. She graduated from Millard Fillmore School of Practical Nursing in 1981 where she received a clinical excellence award. She has thorough knowledge and experience with all of our laser procedures, vein treatments and skin care treatments at The Cosmetic Vein & Laser Center. She is now the medical assistant supervisor at CVLC. Kathy currently performs initial evaluations, pre and post-operative visits, minor office procedures and patient education. She also specializes in Blended Ablative Laser Resurfacing patient care. Kathy is licensed by the State of New York. Kathy enjoys spoiling her nieces and nephews and spending time outdoors in her free time.
Kate
Kate is a Medical Assistant who joined the Cosmetic Vein & Laser Center in 2011. She graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science in 2009. Kate provides excellent patient care and assists with all cosmetic dermatology as well as venous procedures. She is one of the lead General Dermatology Medical Assistants as well. She is well versed in pre-procedural and post-procedural care instructions. She is an ideal CVLC team member. Outside of CVLC, Kate was recently married and enjoys spending time with her family, friends and new puppy.
Stephanie
Stephanie is a Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants who joined the Cosmetic Vein & Laser Center in 2011. She graduated from ECC with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting in 2011. Stephanie is a wonderful asset to the CVLC team. She provides superior care to our patients and assists with all medical and cosmetic procedures in the practice. She is one of the lead General Dermatology Medical Assistants as well.
Carrie
Carrie is a Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants who joined the Cosmetic Vein & Laser Center in 2013. She graduated from Trocaire College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in 1999. She is one of the lead General Dermatology Medical Assistants. She coordinates all of our Accutane patient care and is one of our specialized Cellfina procedure assistants as well. She assists with medical and cosmetic dermatology and is and undeniable enthusiastic asset to our CVLC team. Outside of CVLC, Carrie enjoys baking and spending time with her daughter.
