The Medical Director and President of The Cosmetic Vein and Laser Center in Williamsville, New York, Dr. Buscaglia, a board-certified dermatologist and phlebologist (vein care specialist), completed his 3 year dermatology residency training at Grandview Medical Center / Ohio University, where he served as chief resident and academic teaching fellow. During this specialized training, he initiated and directed an outpatient laser clinic for the treatment of wrinkles, pigmented lesions, vascular lesions, and tattoos.
Dr. Buscaglia also completed a clinical dermatology fellowship in experimental laser therapy (Photodynamic Therapy) at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. He has published articles on cosmetic dermatology, has trained under world-renowned laser specialists, has received awards on a national level, and has served as a cosmetic laser training course director. Dr. Buscaglia received his Bachelor of Science degree from Gannon University and his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University / Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology (www.aad.org), and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (www.aocd.org). He is also a fellow member of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery (www.aslms.org) and an active member of the American College of Phlebology (www.phlebology.org). Dr. Buscaglia is a clinical instructor of Procedural Dermatology, Lasers, and Phlebology for the Department of Dermatology, SUNY at Buffalo, attending dermatologist and Associate Faculty at Daemen College Physician Assistant Program, and a volunteer dermatologist for the University at Buffalo Inner City Lighthouse Clinic. Dr. Buscaglia is fully licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the state of New York.
On a personal note, Dr. Buscaglia, an Italian-American, was born and raised in Buffalo and returned to his hometown after his medical education because of his love for the area and family ties. Dr. Buscaglia and his wife, Lisa, live in East Aurora, have 5 children and he enjoys family time, European travel, restoring historic buildings with his wife, running, fishing, and fine wine collecting.

Dr. Brauer is a board-certified dermatologist and phlebologist (vein care specialist) who completed her dermatology training at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences and clinical cosmetic dermatology, and phlebology (vein care) and laser preceptorship at The Cosmetic Vein and Laser Center. Dr. Brauer received her Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University and graduated cum laude with her Doctorate of Medicine from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Brauer completed an Internal Medicine Preliminary Year at the Consortium of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. She is a member of the American College of Phlebology and a fellow member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Brauer has published articles in her field along with many honorary achievements including membership in the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha, Dean’s List award for academic excellence during medical school, and Phi Beta Kappa honorary status. Dr. Brauer is a clinical instructor of dermatology, lasers, and phlebology for the Department of Dermatology, SUNY at Buffalo and is fully licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the State of New York. In her free time, she enjoys photography, water sports, quilting, and above all, spending time with family. She is the proud mother of a son, Jackson, and a daughter Alexandra and spends a lot of weekends at area zoos, museums, and festivals with her family.
