How Does Laser Therapy Treat Stretch Marks?

Laser therapy works by delivering pulses of light to the affected area. This light energy helps to stimulate collagen production, which can help to improve the appearance of stretch marks. The recovery from laser stretch mark treatment is typically quite short. Most people only experience mild discomfort during the procedure, and, for most, there is no downtime required.

We use both the yellow light Cynergy Pulsed dye laser and the Fraxel Re:store resurfacing laser to treat stretch marks. Both advanced laser systems work to induce remodeling of the collagen under the skin to allow for fading in color and blending of the texture of the stretch mark.
